Never mind about me - check out this video of Right Turn left, playing 'Rio', live in New Cross:And here they are playing 'Brains':And here's something called 7Digital (beats me!):
"Well did you ever wake up with them bullfrogs on your mind?"Here is Rory Gallagher. Forget your Coldplay .... just look at the way he works the audience. And think on this - he drank away his finger speed, voice, talent and looks, and died young. And here's something more bluesy from Rory:
And here's a review of another RIGHT TURN LEFT performance, printed in a newspaper in black and white, so it must be true:The third act were Right Turn Left, who in fact proved to be the slickest and most entertaining band of the evening.
The influences of both The Libertines and Razorlight in their sound and songwriting was clear from the off, but this should not diminish the value of their music which was catchy and engaging. Their image, much like the sound they made seemed geared to appeal to the strong indie-kid presence in The Cavern (think skinny jeans and deceptively expensive haircuts) and appeal it did as the number of spectators increased with every song they played till by the final number the dance floor was filled with a host of shuffling dancers. Last but not least, RTL appeared tobe thoroughly enjoying themselves, all beaming smiles and excited movement. It’s always pleasing to see a band with such an attitude, and linked to their obvious abilities it guarantees an entertaining display.
