In the mid year of 2000 after watching Bandung's local underground electronic band called Electrofux. Two young man (Haryo and Aulia) has a strong-willed to formed an electronic band named after a Petshop (because they are a big fans of The Petshop Boys).
As a duo PAL seventeen plays a Digital kind of music such as Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Faithless and Others. The influence in PAL seventeen came from various electronic musicians from Indonesia and Overseas.
In year 2002 Aulia resign from the group, with a few additional players Haryo continues the task in creating electronic to dance music that leads to the early of 2004 when PAL seventeen sign in with minus records for its debut album that called untitled. The Album it self relased in the mid year of 2004.
Today PAL seventeen came back as a duo, with a new line up and member continuing to experience the journey of creating and expanding electronic genres
