About Me

What is important here is that you go to the Hideout on Friday Sept. 28th for the release of the Bon Mots 2nd CD, "forty days and forty nights with the Bon Mots". The rest of this might just be fluff: I play keys/bass/geetar with several groups: The Bon Mots, Farewell Captain, Light FM, and also Urge Overkill and The Statues of Liberty. Former groups I have been in: Ladies and Gentlemen, URT, Rockit Girl, Emil Muzz, and maybe one or two others that I can't think of at the moment or that didn't do too much.

My Interests

Honda Nighthawks, Gouda Cheese, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer 200s, Nord Electro, Bad Art, Hats, the Colour Orange, Capitalization. Bass Guitar, Perhaps even, "rocking out," but I am not sure what that means, exactly.

I'd like to meet:

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Mr. Honda, S. Rosen, Dave Suh (wait, did that, ought to check that one off the list...), Emma Peel

Music:

Did I mention Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem? Perhaps. Also Sweet, Slade, Patsy Cline, Menthol, the Zombies, Moby Grape, The Left Banke, The Young Olympians, the Lovin' Spoonful, Woolworthy, Conway Twitty, Lookingglass, Steely Dan, ABBA, ELP, the Moody Blues, the Beatles, the Cars, Buck Owens, Blues Image, Hum, Lucinda Williams, Tonya Donnelly, Chad and Jeremy, Bacharach/David, Lieber/Stoller, Chinn/Chapman, the Ladies and Gentlemen, the Band, Three Dog Night, Oingo Boingo, the Plimsouls, the Records, the Assembly, Benmont Tench...

Movies:

I am partial to Casino Royale, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Back to School, anything Python, Easy Rider, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, What's New Pussycat, Sleeper, The Blues Brothers, B&W Bogart, Anchorman, The Great Escape, The Muppet Movie, Yellow Submarine, Goldfinger, Charade, Real Genius...

Television:

Um... the Prisoner, The Avengers, The Saint, anything Python, the Rockford Files, Maverick, the Muppet Show, CYE, Seinfeld, Burns and Allen, the happy painter guy (bill alexander? It has been a while), Tales of the Gold Monkey, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog...

Books:

Catch-22, Hitchhikers Guide, Cosmos, Art of Electronics, Korg Polysix Schematics.... Currently reading Vanity Fair (the book) at a rate of 5 pages per day. Not making much progress. Should maybe switch to the magazine instead. UPDATE: I have finished. hoo-rah. Currently reading a collection of short stories, I can't remember the name of it. But the time investment is much less demanding. Also started reading Applied Cryptography (Schneier), trapped in chapter 2 at the moment. Also in chapter 2 of Fundementals of Digital Audio.

Heroes:

Anyone who managed to get this far. Alive.
