20 years of making the world smile. i go by a lot of names, most people call me vee. ver and vee vee work too. i somehow got the nickname rhea when i was younger. (don’t ask… i have no idea.) i’m mostly filipino, with a little chinese and spanish thrown into the mix. I’m a twin, and being one is quite possibly the best thing in my life. Her name is kimmy, and she completes me. I have a pretty awesome older brother, too. Overprotective at times, but still so much fun. i was blessed with an amazing next door neighbor, alicia,when i moved to deptford in 1990. we've been best friends ever since. i consider myself extremely lucky to have the friends that i have back in dtown. 5S1Z and 3PRTN are all i need to make me happy. needless to say, my friends are my life.
i've been told that i smile a lot, and hopefully when you get to know me, you'll fall in love with this one dimpled smile. i consider myself to be genuine and extremely down to earth. i'm self-motivated and determined: if i want something, i don't stop till it's mine. i used to be insanely shy, and at times, i still am... but all in all i'm a really friendly people-person. i'm optemistic, i like to see the brighter side of things. i'm a hopeless romantic. but don't all girls dream of being swept off their feet? i believe in a lot of things that most people don't. good things come to those who wait. what goes around comes around. and yes, karma is a bitch.
i’m a sophomore at villanova university, and now i’m a huge basketball fan. i absolutely love latin dancing. i’m double majoring in accounting and finance. i work at a financial office during the school year, and I do a little waitressing on the side. i’m public relations chair for the philadelphia district of FIND, so i’m pretty much in charge of promoting events. i’m practically greek at heart, and thanks to my sister’s awesome boyfriend, DJMAKIS, I get to party at the hottest clubs in philly, no fake id necessary.
i’ve learned a lot since I’ve started college. i know how important it is to keep old friends. i’ve learned that life’s too short to take anything for granted. i'm living life with no regrets.i’m slowly learning how to forget about the past, not to worry about the future, and to live in the moment. And somewhere inbetween this year and the last, i’ve learned to hate tiffany’s jewelry.
