Northwest Indiana Pagan Association

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Northwest Indiana Pagan Association was initially created by a group of concerned Pagans wanting to form a group to participate in a local AIDS walk. They needed a name and thus NIPA was born. It was soon realized that such a group could be used to allow local Pagans, especially solitaries, a way to network with others of similar beliefs.
Many years later, NIPA allows many different groups, covens, and individuals to socialize, make contacts, and accomplish many things that we would not be able to alone. We allow groups to organize their social calendars so that everyone is able to participate in everyone's events.
Currently, we have 5-8 events every month, including a book club, two Pagans' Nights Out (PNOs), and open Sabbat rituals. We also have an annual camp out and help organize the local Pagan Pride Day.
All of our events are open to the public. Most of our members are "out of the broom closet", and have appeared in newspapers, on television, and on the local public radio station.
We do not promote any particular path, all forms of Paganism are welcome. We are also very tolerant of other religions. We do have non-Pagans attend our events on occasion, either out of curiosity or to support their Pagan loved ones.
Please feel free to email us or to show up to any of our events. We love to answer questions and we love meeting new people. Hope to see you soon!
