Music without borders

About Me

Formed by bassist Bálint Hrecska and drummer Tamás Németh in 2004. EarRadiance was first called Howdy! Quartet with Tamás Szabó on piano and István Fekete, Jr. on guitar. From the start, they played tunes by Jaco Pastrorius, Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller and Miles Davis among others mixed with original compositions. The next two years were the years of changes - and succesful gigs -, with new members (András Fodor - guitar, Máté Hámori - guitar, Daniel Köllner - guitar, Ákos Pásztor - flute, Janka Virág Koszi - vocal, Vera Vincze-Fekete - vocal). In 2007. - after a year-long brake - guitarist Oliver Petkovic (Serbia) joined Bálint and Tamás, and EarRadiance become a power trio. Now they play original compositions and try to find their own sound. The band's most important concert to date was at Mojo Club in Senta in 2007, as a special guest of the great New York-based power trio TriPod.
