I'm going to write whatever comes to my head because otherwise it would make this totally unpersonal and kind of fake, and that's not what i'm all about.
Music is my life, and it always has been. My name is Jenny, i'm 22 years old, and i'm from Newport News Virginia. I spent 7 months in Los Angeles a few years back (2004),playing from Riverside to Hollywood, and changed my entire life- because of everything I went through on the West Coast, I am who I am today, and my music is more honest because of it.
When I started playing more indie/emo type music, I never intended to try and break barriers, and I never realized it would be so difficult to break the stereotype of "females are pop", but if that's what I have to do- then i'm going to do it. I love music, and I am never turning my back on it again. Your support means the world to me!
I can't really compare my music to anyone elses, I like to let people decide for themselves. I just play whatever I write, and how it sounds is just how it comes out, i'm not trying to be anything that i'm not.
I hope listening to my music means as much as playing it does to me.
