Goodbye Blue Monday!

About Me

I have a nagging cough. Sometimes I worry I'm going to die prematurely.

Ecto 1 was nowhere to be found:

My Interests

There are many things I like to do. Whether or not I actually do them is a completely different matter. For example: I like climbing trees. The last time I actually climbed a tree was nineteen years ago. I was seven.

Things I actually do:

Write. Mostly I jot down observations:

Dancing is absurd - people moving and contorting their bodies to music. If someone was visiting this planet for the first time and they stumbled upon a dance club, they'd think we were crazy.

I also like dinosaurs and outer space.

I'd like to meet:

John Oates. Daryl Hall, not so much.

Music:

The Flaming Lips

-and-

Laura Branigan

Movies:

Mac and Me. ET can suck it.

Television:

I have to have the TV on when I'm falling asleep. The soft glow comforts my senses. Plus, I like to think the noise generated will scare off any would-be middle-of-the-night home intruders.

Books:

I'm currently in the process of reading every book Kurt Vonnegut has ever had published. When I accomplish this, I'm moving onto the Judy Blume collection. A few I'm really looking forward to are Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, its sequel, Superfudge, and Are you there God? It's Me Margaret.

Heroes:

Marc Summers, Max Weinberg..

There's logic buried somewhere in here

I'm sitting at my computer smoking a cigarette as I write this.  I usually don't smoke inside, but like the idea of chain smoking as I labor away at the keyboard.  It gives the ill...

Lyrics

I don't usually post song lyrics because the truth is no one really cares to read the lyrics of a song that I like.  It doesn't affect them in the same manner or have the same mean...

I want to live in a black and white world.

Literally.  Maybe I'll rip the cones out of my eyes. Here's a picture of the street I live on from the days of black and white.  Contrary to popular belief, color did not exis...

Social commentary at its best

(Cue heavy sarcasm)There's nothing like an "it's funny because it's soooooo true" bulletin posting to start your day.  The matter at hand this time around is the hangover.  Some clever littl...

Part 2: Hey kid, I'm a computer

I tend to choose the most difficult path when making decisions in my life.  There's more excitement when you veer from the blazed trail and create your own.  You'll encounter...
