I have many interests. Most of them are quite mundane, and I will refrain from sharing them. To humor you--creative writing, song writing, graphic design, music, film, martial arts, cooking and alcohal (I like the taste much more than the sensation).
I don't know who, really, but friends for the long haul.
the John Butler Trio, Aerosmith, the Doors, the Beatles, the Band, Cream, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, Deep Purple, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, AC/DCNirvana, Soundgarden, Blindmelon, Marcy Playground, Audioslave, Shinedown, the White Stripes, Black Sabbath, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Matchbox 20 (the first album), Three Doors Down, Fuel, Silverchair, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, the Wallflowers, Alice in Chains, System of a Down, Korn (older material), Tool, A Perfect Circle (more so than Tool), Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, Counting Crows, Talking Heads, Jethro Tull, the Edgar Winter Band, Hootie and the Blowfish, Blues Traveler, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ani DiFranco, Fiona Apple, Torie Amos, the Verve, Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Guns and Roses, Santana, Metallica, Pantera, Judas Priest, Megadeth...2 Pac. I'm sure there's more.
the Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Thank You for Smoking, King Kong, Yojimbo, the Last Man Standing, the Seven Samurai, Waiting, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggers, Hero, Fearless, Serendipity, High Fidelity, Gross Point Blank, the Fifth Element, the Thing (the ONLY horror movie where the characters do things that actually make sense), Fatal Instinct (most spoofs), Gladiator, Braveheart, the Matrix (the original), the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter series, Kung Pow, Pooty Tang, V for Vendetta, with the exception of Daredevil and Electra and the art direction of the Hulk--comic book adaptations movies, most horrors, many actions, assorted comedies, history, and many documentaries. I've been told I like every movie--this is almost true, but by no means do I think that every movie is good. Worst movies ever made--Too Fast Too Young and Eragon.
Lost, Futurama, the Simpsons, the Boondocks, Family Guy, American Dad, Southpark, Drawn Together, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Scrubs, Samurai Jack, Firefly, Home Movies, Daria, Quantum Leap, the Cosby Show, Rosanne, Fresh Prince (Nic-at-Nite), and I apologize for these, but the Gilmore Girls, American's Next Top Model, and Project Runway (sad, sad, sad sad news...), Prison Break, Heroes, the Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, the X-Files, Most Extreme Elimination, Whose Line is it Anyway?, the Office, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, House, That 70's Show, the Drew Carey Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, the King of Queens, All About Jim, the War at Home...simply put--all of them? I don't like watching it for it's source material I can always mock it, and that's always run, right?
anything Terry Brooks (Landover is his best, by far), Brust, Hughart, OSC, Pratchett, Gemmel, Jordan, Modesit, Goodkind (up to book three, I think--then everything is the same thing), Tolkien (has good stories to tell but sucks at telling them), Kay, Beckett, the House of Leaves, Michael Moorcock (Melinbone, not the fat guy), Turtledove, Steinbeck, Wells, and Fitzgerald. I love stories, but I hate to read...
My friends. They're wonderful people. You know who you are.
