About Me

A friend once told me I've got the heart of an artist and the brain of a mathematician...best compliment ever. I drink 3 liters of water a day and thank my MTA bus drivers. I enjoy making lists, making memories, and making way for ducklings.

My Interests

Step aerobics, weather.com, pop culture, food, sneaking into a second movie after paying for the first, skydiving, telling people about my random dreams, NPR, celebrity SAT scores, girlfriends, boyfriends, old friends, new friends, playoffs of any sport but no hockey or football because the agression scares me.

I'd like to meet:

Eh.

Music:

Barenaked Ladies, Alanis, Ani, The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie, Guster, Norah Jones, Indigo Girls, whatever Kristen plays on our road trips.

Movies:

Grosse Pointe Blank, Thomas Crowne Affair, Sound of Music, Pretty Woman, Good Will Hunting, Ocean's Eleven, Fight Club, Center Stage, X-Men, Bring It On, anything with Will Ferrell even if it's just a random cameo, About a Boy, lots of other ones.Movies I've Walked Out Of: Meet Joe Black, Anger Management, Pleasantville, some con movie w/ DeNiro and maybe Ed Norton in Canada.Movies I've Fallen Asleep In: Sense and Sensibility, the second Harry Potter, Ace Ventura 2, Apollo 13.First Movie I Cried At: Philadelphia.Movies I Have No Interest In Seeing: any scary movies, any Star Wars movies, any Lord of the Rings movies, any movie starring Anne Hathaway.

Television:

Arrested Development, Alias, Law and Order (but not CI), Best Week Ever, Sports Night, Newsradio, Ali G, The Simpsons, Friends, Square One, West Wing before it started sucking, Sex and the City, Seinfeld, Family Ties. I like TV. Liking TV is cool.

Books:

For prestige: Ishmael and Atlas Shrugged. For trash: Devil Wears Prada, Jane Green books, Going Down (yep it's about a hooker). For childhood: Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Babysitters Club, the Narnia books. For nerdiness: The History of Zero. Last Book Read: a book told from the perspective of a 15-year-old autistic boy...all the chapter numbers were prime numbers instead of regular cardinal order. Ha.

Heroes:

Enrique Iglesias says he can be my hero. I'm still taking applications.

My Blog

everyone's messed up

Everyone has issues. What pisses me off is the fact that most people aren't willing to admit that they have issues, or accept it or whatever, and then it looks like the people who recognize and deal ...
