About Me

"I dont work within the exact boundaries of the law because I wasn't consulted when the goddamn laws were made. No, instead, nameless, faceless politicians, the so-called protectors of the moral majority, decide what is right and what is wrong. I mean....come on!! I govern my life around my own personal code of ethics and I suggest you do the same. That way if, within the constructs of my own morality, I were to do something that was considered illegal...so be it. I feel no guilt whatsoever. And furthermore, if I were to buckle under the social weight of the system by adhering to laws that I do not truly believe in then I would be extinguishing the very fire of patriotism and individuality."

My Interests

I'm incredibly random and I will try anything once as long as it won't kill me immediately. I'm incredibly open and base my life in fun. I dream big and live like I might die tonight while following my intense ambitious nature straight to fame and fortune. I am very into designers and shoes are not a fashion accessory, they're a passion. I love coffee more than any one person probably should and travel is another pure passion. I like random road trips to absolutely anywhere and every new place I see helps to shape new thoughts and ideas about the world around me which as a writer, is what I live for.

I'd like to meet:

Dane Cook. Someone who wants to publish my books or someone who wants to give me lots of money for doing nothing at all. People who are not lame. People who won't bring their drama into my life. People that make decisions based in thought not emotion. People who are capable of having an intellectual debate about pretty much anything and absolutely nothing. People who don't push religion on others or anything else really. Basically people who are content with how they live and don't try to tell me how to live are cool with me.

Music:

I am a lyrics girl. I like music that tells a story, music I can relate to, music that is intelligent. Poetry set to melody basically, genre is unimportant. I'm willing to listen to anything once and as long as it's not yelling at me or unintelligable, I'll probably like it.

Movies:

Fight Club, Boondock Saints and Identity are 3 of my absolute favorites but I love a lot of movies. I like psychological movies with twists. I like comedies especially anything with Adam Sandler or Dane Cook. Dramas are great as well. The only thing I really don't like at all is horror.

Television:

Nip/Tuck, Grey's Anatomy, Rescue Me, and Lost are pretty much all I watch. But when its Shark Week on the Discovery Channel, thats what I'm watching!

Books:

I consider fiction novels to be inspiration as my goal in life is to write them. My favorite book of all time is "Catcher in the Rye" by JD Salinger. Newer stuff that I like includes Jodi Picoult, Mitch Albom, Nicholas Sparks, Jennifer Weiner, Lisa See, James Patterson and some Steven King. Older stuff that I like includes Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, Harper Lee, John Steinbeck, Edgar Allen Poe and of course JD Salinger.

Heroes:

My father, Justin and Sarah Jessica Parker.

How do you measure....measure a year?

In midnights? In sunsets? In cups of coffee? In inches? In miles? In laughter? In strife? Yes. Those of you who don't recognize where that came from, it's from 'Seasons of Love', a song in Rent. Anyho...
