I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me.

Intelligent, witty, sexy, stylish, funny, sweet and assertive. I'm an enigma, but I feel that only serves to make me more interesting. I love my animals, my family and my friends. I can be fiercly loyal if I'm committed to you. However, I expect the same in return. I have many acquaintances but very few friends - probably because my definition of friend is a lot stricter than most everyone else's.I love learning new things and getting out of the house. I love traveling, music, rock climbing - pretty much anything active that I've never done before. I'm learning to play guitar, learning more about life and myself...sometimes more than I'd like. The little things are important to me - opening doors, honesty and truth, compassion and integrity. Oh, and if you really like me - SHOW ME. Talk is cheap and I've heard it all before.
People tend to underestimate me, but most learn fairly quickly that not only am I nice to look at, I'm damn smart as well...so look out.
I'm very big on symbolism. All of my tattoos have meaning to me, and I tend to find significance in the smallest things...the story below has meaning for me. If you get it, we should definitely be friends.
The Dragon Gate- Ueno-dono Gohenji
In China there is a waterfall called the Dragon Gate. Its waters plunge a hundred feet, more swiftly than an arrow shot by a strong archer.
It is said that thousands of carp gather in the basin below, hoping to climb the falls, and that any which succeed will turn into a dragon.
But their deepest fear is not that they are inadequate. Their deepest fear is that they are powerful beyond measure. It is their light, not their darkness, that frightens them. Such is the difficulty a carp faces in becoming a dragon.

My Interests

Horror movies, serial killers, tattooed men, heathens, rebels, fast cars, tattoos, vintage anything, alcoholic drinks, cult films, werewolves and pirates, dancing and anything debaucherous. Rock climbing, books, philosophy, a good conversation, theology (because I just don't get it), anything I know nothing about.

I'd like to meet:

Men who attend this meeting.
**My friends seem to think I need to meet some super hot, wealthy hip guy who will worship the ground I walk on. However, I believe that I've recently discovered that perhaps I am less particular than I once was, at least where looks are concerned. Obviously, I have to be physically attracted to someone, but I tend to appreciate men with a little extra meat on their bones who work in blue collar jobs and know what it means to work for what you want. Although, the more I think about it, maybe my friends are on to something because I haven't found Mr. Right yet...so, if you're considering messaging me in a romantic context here's a little bit of what I like in a person:
People who know how to spell. People who read books without pictures. People who aren't afraid to tell the truth, even if it hurts. People who understand that you can be godless and yet still retain morals. People who possess integrity, passion, wit, humor, sarcasm and a dark side. People who aren't afraid to try something new. People who aren't "scene". Intelligentistas. Poets. Romantics. Lovers. Fighters.
Appreciators of Ayn Rand, Henry Rollins, Socrates, The Neverending Story, Grease, Meatloaf (the guy, not the meal...although the meal is pretty good, too.), Book-smart, street smart, smart-smart. Snappy dressers.
People I'd love to meet but probably never will: David Bowie, Christopher Walken, Noam Chomsky, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Angelina Jolie, Ayn Rand, Henry Rollins, Joan Jett (WWJJD?), Lita Ford, Leonard Cohen, Pete (from Big Brother UK), e.e. cummings, Dylan Thomas.
