About Me

J. Rad is a group of dedicated musicians, all with the same inner passion for the music they love - heavy rock. Together, they‘ve embarked on a mission to further the Arena Rock Power Metal concept, by playing rock the way it should be played - Loud, proud, and full out!
Through the years, J.Rad has shared the stage with many famous musicians. They have played with Bret Michaels, Yngwie Malmsteen, Asia, Living Colour, Mountain, Poison, Johnny Winter, Joe Lynn Turner, Twisted Sister, and Artimus Pyle.
The band's sound engineer, George Marshall, is of the highest quality. George handles all of J.Rads live sound, as well as the cd and studio production work. Prior to J.Rad, George has worked with Twisted Sister, John Entwistle of The Who, and other famous musicians.
The band:
J.RAD - All guitars
DIEZEL - Drums/percussion
GINO - Vocals
RUSS - Bass
Well 2007 was a turning point year in the young history of J.Rad. January was a month in which Nashville based Storm Dog Records came up to NYC to have J.Rad showcase at SIR Studios. They signed J.Rad to the label, and in October J.Rad's CD Lonely Winter was released on iTunes, Rhapsody, Sony Connect and Napster. It is also available at www.jradrocks.com. The band performed many shows including a well received gig at the legendary B.B. King's. But the final piece to the band's incredible growth was the addition of the very talented Russ Zutto on bass. Russ along with brothers Jared Cannata on guitars, Jordan Cannata on drums, and Gino Rudolph on vocals present a band with high energy, experience, and a work ethic rarely paralleled by anyone. 2008 looks to be a breakout year. Hard at work in the studio, the maturity and collaboration between them is very evident on the new material. J.Rad's music is now worldwide, being played in Belgium, Sweden, Holland, Spain, and Brazil. Entering the 10th year the band has developed a unique synergy. Keep your ears wide open for the sounds of J.Rad.- Brian The 5th J.Rad :-)
