Many interests, pretty much on purpose cause they keep me from spending too much damn time in front of this here computer. Computer person I ain't (yet here I am, fukin' pathetic), that's why I still sneek my way onto this one that belongs to my roomie Dano (sorry, I owe you a beer..in fact just steal one out of the fridge) rather than bother buying one of my own! INTERESTS: BIKING- I don't use my 10 speed as much as I use to, but do enjoy hitting a trail or the dirt roads up in Vermont when I vacation. HOCKEY- Go DEVILS!! (Brodeur, the friggin' MAN!!) BASEBALL- Go YANKS!! (I hope you'll be around for a few more centuries Boston, cause it'll take you about that long to catch up to us!!) GUITARS- All kinds!! Electric, acoustic, beat up pieces of shit, brand new outta the box, old classics that're worth thousands...I dig it all if it can be played. Currently own 6 electrics and 2 acoustics, and I play them all (when I have time, which lately has been NEVER). CARS- I currently have a '73 Dodge Dart and '74 Plymouth Gold Duster, I work on them often...they just grab my gord. MISC- Going to shows (live bands), bowling and playin pool... until I start playing like shit, LOL, Hangin' and drinkin' with my peeps (friends and fam), needlessly (or needfully in my mind, usually drunk) yelling at people from the backseat of my friends vehicle, stalking Flanders, eatin' scoobie snacks, feeding the dragon at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, prank calling my friend vinny, sleeping, working, always finding something to do in my free time...
Jesse James, Martin Broduer (again), Space Ghost, Duff Man
Anything that ROCKS!!! Basically a mix of metal (speed & thrash, none of that gay "winger" crap), hard-core/punk, Irish punk, and some classic and hard rock. I can mellow out to Billy Joel and Peter Gabriel if in the right mood (and it usually depends on the song, like Joel's "Just the way you are" makes me want to go stick my head in an oven, but "Downeaster Alexa" and "Goodnight Saigon" I honestly do find inspiring). Tha' BANDS: (and not limited to cause I sure I forgot some) Anthrax, 80's Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, S.O.D., Soulfly, Pantera (R.I.P.), Alice n' Chains, Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., Type O Negative, The Haunted, At the Gates, Death, Carcass, Napalm Death, Darkest Hour, Shadows Fall, Unearth, Fear Factory, Iced Earth, Judas Priest, Opeth, Paradise Lost, Clutch, Cave In, Minus the Bear, GWAR, Dave Brockie Experience, Primus, Candiria, Thrice, BLS, Sick Of It All, Madball, Snapcase, Agnostic Front, Leeway, Cromags, Biohazard, E. town Concrete, Misfits, Dropkick Murphys, Floggin' Molly, The Skels (the best irish bar band one could every friggin' see!), Bouncing Souls, Social Distortion, etc.... and the bands I don't listen to much anymore, but if a song comes on the radio I'll usually crank it: Sabbath, Zepplin, AC/DC, The Police, The Who, and my all time favorite band, RUSH...because the chemistry, songwriting, and musicianship between these same three dudes for over 30 years is more than almost any band around can own up to, and that's THAT.
Army Of Darkness, Heat, Miracle, Spaceballs, The Boondock Saints, Gangs of New York, Young Guns I & II, Old School, Road Trip, Half Baked, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Silence of the Lambs, Clerks, The Big Lebowski, Gladiator, The Usual Suspects, ____________ (fill in the blank)
The Simpsons, CSI, Monster Garage (R.I.P), Mythbusters, American Chopper, Scrubs, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Space Ghost, House, Robot Chicken, Hill Street Blues, The Honeymooners, Looney Tunes (the original, not that crap from the 90's), and anything else that won't bore the helloutta me.
Ghost Rider by Neil Peart; Beyond the Crease by Martin Broduer and Damien Cox; The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster by Bobby Henderson; New Brunswick, New Jersey, Goodbye by Ronen Kauffman; and whatever I'll read eventually...
My Dad, and "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott....two legends that are no longer down here with us, but are still watching over us. The men (including my grandpa Thomas and Uncle Wally) and women in the service who have, and still are protecting and serving this country.
