About Me

How does one even begin to describe oneself? I could start by telling you all about who I am, and what I like, and all that other stuff as well. I'm not going to, though. Most times, I'm not even sure myself. I enjoy really random things. I live in Manhattan (greatest city in the universe), and I am one of the many people trying to scrape a living in Theatre. Honestly... it's what I love and what I live for. I don't mind working jobs that I hate, even though I complain about them. I love to sing, dance, and act. And what's more? I'm actually heterosexual. I might add more soon... but I probably won't. Just talk to me. I'll give you a pretty good idea of who I am. Alan --

I have bizarre tastes in music. I like a little bit of everything. I mean... I love my showtunes. Just gonna throw that one out there. I also love:80's Music (more than I really should) Regina Spektor (like... REALLY) Rufus Wainwright (I dig the voice) Jack Johnson (makes me happy) Jamie Cullum (some good-time music) DMB (die-hard fan for quite some time now)And many, many others. I try not to limit myself when it comes to my musical tastes.

Movies:

Don't even start me on movies. My collection is ever-growing and quite good, if I must say so myself. Just ask me... I'll let you know my favorites.

Television:

I don't find much time for TV these days. Sad, right? Not really. I watch what's important.

Books:

Now here... we've hit upon something. I love to read. Always have. I am ALWAYS reading something. I read super-duper fast and I love it. I'll even read books 2-3 times if I really like them. I read textbooks and really obscure books for the sake of learning something new and interesting. I will stop reading when I know everything... and since one cannot actually know everything, I'll be reading forever. Seriously... always have a book on me.
