Jon AKA Mongo [Chosen Few]

There is a lot to say about me, but getting to know me is way better then explaining it on myspace. That's why I have given you the chance to do something about it. Don't worry I don't bite, lick, sting, or whatever you want to call it, lol. And if you don't do anything, I won't be mad; however, if your my "myspace friend" drop by to say something will ya? ^_^ ------------------------------------------------------------ This is me at a CPP VSA Culture Night practice (2005-2006). Don't ask me why I am getting a beat down? But those guys there happen to be homo at the moment. As we can see, they like touching me, lol X-DThis was my first time that I ever went to try out for a hip hop team called Groove 57 (now it's called GRV) and I didn't make it by the way; if you don't see me yet. I am the only guy off beat and looks like I am krumping, lol. I was passionately wanted to be part of a dance team, because I wanted to share my love for dancing, but this team wasn't for me ^_^This was my first popping battle with one of my hero, H-Boogie VS Mongo. And of course I was killed, because I was over confident that I could take him in this battle, but as you can see this is where I started to learn the steps as dancer.This is my first show and my first team that I joined through my dancing career. The team you see in this video is called Chosen Few. This was the only crew that I was officially in at the moment and I love them very much ^_^This was my first Session A Poppin Battle 01/10/08. It was 4 (Two non-poppers: Elias aka Lucid and BBoy Chuk/2 Poppers: J-Swizz and another popper idk) VS 3 (Chosen Few's Poppers: Huy AKA H-Boogie and I AKA Mongo, along with Krys AKA Poppin Cherries).-Part 1 of the video filmed from a Session A camera man--Part 2 of the video filmed from a Session A camera man--Here is the side of the video from H-Boogie's camera from the same Session A battle clips you saw above or not-H-Boogie and I were dancing and messing around at the Alhambra area of Valley Ave and another street name that I forgot. Where another Tet Festival was taking place again. After that, we both headed over to West Covina Mall and messed around some more, lol.H-Boogie and I was dancing at the Puente Hills Mall. While we were waiting for Andrew, Neil, and Kimberly to finish their movie on Step Up 2, hahaha. Well...there is not much of me dancing, but I am in it and messing around like always ^_^This was my first official battle (With a Dj playing funk music and judges who came from a good background of popping history-"Butters", Jet Li, and someone else idk). This battle was held at "The Deuce's" jam. I went against Poppin LC, but I didn't know he WAS my teams adviser for Chosen Few at the moment. So it was a 1 on 1 Poppin Battle with no preliminarily rounds. And during this battle. I tied with him and then afterwords we had a 1 round each to break the tie breaker. I won the tie breaker, but this was not my best poppin battle that I could of have done at the moment. But as you can see...I was off beat most of the time, except for the ending part of this battle. So enjoy :-) Too bad I can't find the tie breaker battle. I did the matrix in that one :-PSo I advanced to the second round. Where I went up against a dancer who's' style was like David Elsewhere/Flat Top. Second round was Kian VS Mongo. As you can tell; he is flexible and I know his style since the day I danced against him for fun. So yeah...I already predicted my lost.
