[English]Denun is a metal band created in 2001 in Santiago, Chile. Claudio Molina and Paula Vilches started it under the name of "Deumadenun" (to do justice in mapudungun). Both wanted to create a band of rock and metal, with a little of ethnic Chilean music. But it is in the year 2002 when there..s created the first line-up of the band, of five members, and a little time after joins the keyboard player Leonardo Rebolledo.During a time they worked giving form to the first songs and starting knowing itself through live presentations, obtaining a small but important group of listeners of their music. After some changes in the formation they return to the fundamental essence of their offer, staying only a trio, those who continue recruiting musical people.Javier Iglesias in guitar, Luis Osses in drums and Jaime Navarrete in bass, join the band, being this way the way towards the style of the band, mixing strong sounds in strings and percussions with melancholy keyboards and harmonious vocal compositions.Later and for several motives the name of the band is changed to Denun.In February, 2004, to prove the real sound of the band and to continue spreading their music they recorded a demo called Denun. It had an acceptable result.In 2005 Luis Osses left Denun and Rony Olguin joined the band as the new drummer.In this year the band recorded "Toluken", Denun..s first album.In 2006 the song "Asterión" was included in the first chilean metal compilation edited by Dark Forum Metal "From The Land That God Forgot"After some changes in the line-up in 2007 Rodrigo Plaza becomes the new bass player and the old drum player Luis Osses returns to the band.At the moment they are working in the songs that will be in their next studio recording. [Español] Denun nace en el año 2001 en Santiago, Chile, cuando Claudio Molina y Paula Vilches deciden formar Deumadenun, una banda de rock/metal cuyo nombre significa "hacer justicia" en mapudungun. En el 2002, en medio de un intenso proceso de composición se crea la primera formación de la banda, de cinco integrantes, a la que más tarde se uniría Leonardo Rebolledo en los teclados. Con la formación completa, no dudan en seguir adelante y atreverse a dar a conocer su trabajo mediante numerosas presentaciones en vivo, consiguiendo un pequeño pero importante grupo de personas oyentes de su música.Luego de algunos necesarios ajustes en la formación, a ella se unen Javier Iglesias en guitarra, Luis Osses en batería y Jaime Navarrete en bajo, con quienes finalmente se logra encontrar un estilo propio, encontrando la esencia fundamental de su propuesta. Como consecuencia de ello, y por varios otros motivos, se decide cambiar el nombre de la agrupación a "Denun".Con potentes sonidos en cuerdas, melancólicos teclados, percusiones con carácter y armoniosas composiciones vocales, en Febrero de 2004 deciden entrar a un estudio de grabación para registrar su material y su sonido en un demo homónimo, el que sería de gran ayuda para continuar la difusión de su música. Fuera de cualquier expectativa, el material grabado consigue llamar la atención del sello "Nothingness Records" de Bélgica, el que actualmente lo distribuye en Europa.A mediados de 2005 Luis Osses deja la agrupación, integrándose Rony Olguin en batería. Posteriormente, en Octubre de ese mismo año, la banda ingresa nuevamente al estudio para grabar "Toluken", su primera placa de larga duración. En 2006, "Asterión", una canción perteneciente a ese álbum, es elegida para ser incluida en la primera compilación de metal chileno, "From The Land That God Forgot", cuya edición estuvo a cargo de Dark Forum Metal.En el 2007, después de un confuso momento para la banda, Denun deja atrás a algunos de sus miembros para ser reemplazados por quienes hoy son sus actuales integrantes: Rodrigo Plaza en bajo, Alejandro Sepúlveda en guitarra, y su reinventado baterista, Luis Osses.En Mayo de 2007 la banda recibe la noticia de que ha quedado seleccionada en el Festival de Bandas Yamaha 2007.Hoy, Denun y sus integrantes no se detienen. Más afiatados y concentrados que nunca, continúan trabajando para algún día consolidar su propuesta musical y su carrera independiente dentro y fuera del país. L' objectif de départ de proposer une musique entre rock et metal matinée d' influences typiquement chiliennes. L' année 2002 le duo se transforme en groupe comprenant notamment le claviériste Leonardo Rebolledo. Une fois les 1ers morceaux composés, le sextet monte sur scène aussi souvent que possible, mais le line-up se disloque.Au trio précédemment cité se rajoutent bientôt Javier Iglesias (guitar), Luis Osses (drums) et Jaime Navarrete (bass). Là dessus les chiliens se renomment Denun et peaufinent leur style, un doom à la fois puissant et onirique, se situant quelque part entre The 3rd and the Mortal période Kari Rueslatten et le 1er Within Temptation. Courant 2004 Denun a enregistré une 1ère demo (placée en libre dl) de très bonne qualité tant sur le plan des compositions que de la production.Quelques concerts plus tard, ces musiciens ont réuni les fonds nécessaire pour retourner en studio. Début octobre 2005 Denun investit le VNA studio pour enregistrer son 1er album intitulé "Salema" dont on attend des nouvelles. Fin mars 2006 les chiliens ont signé un contrat de distribution concernant leur demo avec le label belge Nothingness records. Les choses commencent enfin à bouger pour eux.L' été 2006 tient ses promesses car Denun place un titre sur la compilation "From The Land That God Forgot" consacrée au metal chilien et éditée par Dark Forum Metal, changer de site puis de bassiste, Jaime Navarrete cédant sa place à Rodrigo Galvez en octobre. En septembre c' est la sortie de leur 1er album finalement titré "Toluken". Depuis 3 membres du groupe ont été interviewés sur une radio spécialisée, signe visible que le travail de promotion a débuté.
