About Me

I am just a guy who does stuff. Probably not much different than the stuff that you do.

I am a member of the comedy troupe Eat, Drink and Be Larry in Albuquerque.

Here's the poster for a movie we made:

Here is a short video we made:

I am also in a cool band called Feels Like Sunday.

Here's a music video that WE made:

My Interests

Music:

My musical tastes are the product of my having come of age in the early nineties. Also, my parents were hippies that occasionally threw on the oldies station during family outings. I don’t listen to a ton of new music, but I have been intrigued lately by smaller artists like Tilly and the Wall and Aqueduct. I’ll also listen to anything that’s fast and loud.

Favorite Albums:

Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy
Weezer’s Pinkerton
Metallica’s Master of Puppets
Nirvana’s In Utero
The Beatles’ Let it Be

Lesser albums that I also enjoy:

Green Jelly’s Cereal Killer Soundtrack, Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Nick Drake’s Pink Moon, Huey Lewis and the News’ Sports, Green Day’s American Idiot, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Modest Mouse’s Good News for People Who Love Bad News, Primus’ Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Queens of the Stone Age’s Songs for the Deaf, John Prine’s Fair and Square, Nine Inch Nail’s Pretty Hate Machine, Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction, Limabeck’s Hi, Everything’s Great, Mason Jennings’ Bonecouds, Madonna’s Like a Prayer

Movies:

This Week's Favorite: Love Actually

Television:

Lately: Star Trek and Holiday Specials

And 24. it's the only show i watch with any consistency. and fear factor. and passions... you know, the soap. and letterman, mr. show, pee-wee's playhouse, kids in the hall, south park, aqua teen hunger force, pete and pete, house, my name is earl, the office, simpsons, snl, space ghost, beavis and butt-head, the x-files and the tick (live action and animated). i get most of my TV form DVD.

Books:

i can't read or write. but if i could i'd like tom robbins, cormac mccarthy, bukowski, henry miller, d.h. lawerence, joseph heller, hermann hesse, dave eggers, the bible (when i need to make a really offensive joke), michelle tea, kurt vonnegut, hunter s. thompson, the beats (naked lunch is published in heaven, so i guess that it doesn't suck), chuck palahniuk, douglas adams, lord of the rings and harry potter. i hear that all of those books and authors don't suck. i can't be sure though. Also, anything that has been made into a movie, that way it's easier for me to fake that i've read it.

Heroes:

ralph macchio, ralphie (from a christmas story), ralph fiennes, ralph nader, ralph 'fritz the cat' bakshi, ralph wiggum, ralph lauren, ralph waldo emerson.

My Labor Day (Part I: Huey, Billy and Flavored Water)

My Labor Day (Part III: Bees, Red Bull and Karma Sutra)

On Monday we ate breakfast at one of Denver's 10,000 local dinners. We sat out on the patio and it was quaint, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful. But then things took a turn fo...
