About Me

Crafting a euphoria delivery system that is at once heavy, deep, delicate, intuitive, counter-intuitive, diverse, inventive, accessible, strange and beautiful. The objective of this daunting endeavor: to rock with you.
Although this is a new project, we are all steeped in the Bay Area's emergence as a metal mecca, so a fine balance of brutality and precision comes naturally to our music. We draw upon a diverse array of influences, admiring great songwriters in many genres and periods, so finding and revealing the emotional center of a moment also comes naturally. These elements combine into something that doesn't precisely fit into any single category of music.
On this page you'll hear our music evolving in real time. We are posting updated mixes and new songs frequently, so check in from time to time and observe the unfolding.
Better yet, come to one of our shows and rock with us in real time. The sweetest art is transitory, living in a moment then dissapating like smoke, curling gracefully upward into nothingness.

HERE IS A BANNER YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR PAGE!! (Thanks Justin!!)

Influences: Our music is highly influenced by the Gothenburg sound, as well as the linear and diverse songwriting styles of Tool, Megadeth, Opeth and early Metallica. You may detect the rhythmic influence of innovators such as Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Danny Cary of Tool, Perry Strickland of VIO-LENCE. But most importantly, we strive to forge new creations that go beyond these influences, into unique territories. We work to craft songs that will take you on journies of emotion, exploring realms of power, sadness, speed, reflection, exhiliration and tranquility.

Other artists whose work lends us inspiration and whose influence you may notice include Porcupine Tree, Dark Tranqulilty, Jeff Beck, Flostsam and Jetsam, Coroner, Kyuss, Snake River Conspiracy, Jimi Hendrix, Dimmu Borger, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle, Motorhead, Voivod, The Plasmatics, Dream Theater, In Flames, Rammstein, UFO, Faith No More, Still Remains, Muse, Primus, Blackfoot, Sabbath, Steve Vai, Death Angel, KISS, Avenged Sevenfold, Lords of Acid, Thin Lizzy, KMFDM, Starz, NIN, Kansas, Stabbing Westward, Alice Cooper, Marty Friedman, Gravity Kills, Kula Shaker, Sepultura, T-Ride, Outrage (the one from Nagoya), Suicidal Tendencies, Soilwork, Blue Oyster Cult, Uli Jon Roth, Dimebag, Type O Negative, Cheap Trick, Smack, Isis, Accept, Alice in Chains, Rush, Marillion, etc.

Although it may not be readily apparent on the surface, at a sub-atomic level, our songwriting is also highly informed by artists beyond the realm of heavy music... Jane Siberry, UK, The Stranglers, Heather Nova, Electric Light Orchestra, Nick Drake, Noe Venable, Leo Kottke, The Doors, Cat Stevens, Steely Dan, early Genisis, Tomita, Harry Chapin, Loreena McKennitt, Jethro Tull, Laura Viers, The Moody Blues, Mark Knofler, Kate Bush, Don McLean, Depeche Mode, Chris Deburgh, Bob Dylan, Fiona Apple, Doyle Dykes, ELP, Toy Matinee, Morcheeba, Ultravox, etc.

Sounds Like: Each of our songs has its own aura. We have a broad range of influences, so you may hear overtones of bands like Tool, Slayer, Porcupine Tree, VIO-LENCE, UFO, Metallica, etc. If you think you have an accurate description of our sound, let us know.
