Solomons Ashes is a heavy rock band from Northern California. The band exploded onto the local music scene in spring 2005 and quickly made themselves one of the top contending artists in the local scene. With there new album Wartorn, the band has set a path to success. With a strong desire to succeed, and the understanding of marketing and promotions, Solomons Ashes will become one of the biggest new rock bands on this decade.Solomons Ashes began in early 2005 with Charlie Jacobs (ex-Par e dim Shift) and Corey Groves got together and began writing and seeking a drummer. After several auditions with various drummers, Mike Lundeen (ex Sons of Chaos) joined the band, and they began working on the material that has become the album Wartorn. The band spent the first year as a three piece project, and wrote and recorded the new album Wartorn as a three piece. They also began touring regionally in support of the new album. The band had always planned on adding the right fourth member to the band to fill in the spot of lead guitar, but nobody fit the part until mid summer2006, when the band announced the arrival of the new lead guitarist Kris Hartzell (Premeditated). Kris brought with him what the band had in mind for the fourth member. Excellent musicianship, and understanding of the business.Now, Solomons Ashes are taking the west coast by storm just as they did their local hometown. Solomons Ashes are known for crossing barriers. They pride themselves on having fans as young as 12 singing there songs, as well as 60 year old fans coming to see them play. The band also crossed over into the hip-hop market recently, by doing a video shoot with hip-hop stars The Federation, for Chuck Taylor Converse Shoes. They were also invited to play a music festival with Keak Da Sneak, Thizz Nation, and other huge rap stars. The band has appeared on t.v. shows in Vacaville, and in Sacramento. Corey and Mike from the band had a cameo in an indie film release titled Permission earlier this year. Solomons Ashes will return to the regional touring markets throughout 2006-2007 and soon show the western United States and the rest of the country what they are all about
