About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor at MySpace Toolbox !What would you like to know? I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I've lived here since 1990 (moved here because Dad was in the Navy), went to Tallwood High School and graduated from Old Dominion with a BS in Communication with a Minor in Marketing. I used to be a weekend DJ for 96X until I got a job with Radio Disney doing Production/Promotions. It's more fun than you'd think, believe me! I'm now working for the most kick ass radio station out there: The Energy @ 106-1. I do weekends on air, so listen to me people!! Kickin ass and takin names, bi-ha-itch! I like having fun, doing just about anything. I have a great sense of humor. I'm also a "Nice Guy" (GOD I hate that label, but it's true)...I'll do anything for someone if I know I'll get the same in return. I am a big dork...Comics are a hobby of mine (Flash rules!).Your results:

My Interests

Your Pimp Name Is...
His Majesty Big Spenda What's Your Pimp Name? Well, I'm very interested in Amy Barbour, what else is there...Public Enemy ..1 People!!. Making a woman smile and laugh is the most important thing. Making her feel special is my ultimate goal. I'm also into comics (again, big dork) and love all music! Music has been a great influence throughout my life. I've come to believe that music can create any mood, either desired or not. I use music to help express my moods!

I'd like to meet:

Kirsten Dunst! Eliza Dushku! Charisma Carpenter! I love meeting new people that are hella tuff! If that is you, then message me! Also, I love the listeners for The Energy!! You guys kick major booty!!!!!!!!! As far as relationships go, I have met the greatest woman ever...Amy Barbour! She is the sunshine on my cloudy day and I couldn't ask for a better woman to grow old with! I love her with all my heart! "God Bless The Broken Road" that led me straight to her!.. width="425" height="350" ..

Music:

All of it. I can find a great artist in any genre. Some favorites are: Brian McKnight, New Found Glory, Usher, Method Man, Beastie Boys, Boyz II Men, Earth, Wind and Fire, Lionel Ritchie, Journey, Korn, John Mayer, Limp Bizkit, Three Days Grace, Coheed and Cambria, Tim McGraw, Sara Evans...if you don't get the picture yet, I basically like it all!!

Movies:

The Usual Suspects, all the Harry Potter movies, all Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Last Samurai, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Tommy Boy, all Kevin Smith movies, X-Men and X2, Spider-Man 1 & 2, Van Wilder

Television:

Let's see...24 (Jack Bauer for President!!), PrisonBreak, The Office, Smallville, Veronica Mars, and of course old school shows like Buffy and Angel!!

Books:

All the Harry Potter books. Again, I love comics, so I'll list a few here: The Flash, Green Lantern, Justice League of America, Teen Titans, Justice Society of America, Legion of Super-Heroes, X-Men, Spider-Man...the list only gets longer, so I'll stop here.

Heroes:

My hero is my dad, Mike Alverson. Throughout my life, the only thing he did was try and instill as many values as he could. At first, you never really listen to your parents, but one day it hits you: they are right. If I only end up half the man he is, I'll be on top of the world! All I can do is say Thanks for all the advice! Also, my Grandfather, Wayne Williams. Being a fighter pilot in WWII, he almost died, but instead he led a great life until his passing on Dec. 24, 2004. He was a man of principle, and gave me a little bit of my stubbornness. He owned his own business and loved his family. He is another inspiration to me. When I was a kid, his stories were larger than life and that is how I will always remember him!
