Biography: With a style on her own, RoMix made her first professional appearance in 2002 at Malaga disco, encouraged by Hernan Cattaneo to pursue her professional career. Her progressive sounds and the response of the crowd led her to be the resident DJ of the mythical club New York City. Her powerful and feminine style made her become a headliner DJ in Caix. From that point on, she performed in pubs and clubs such as Mint (sharing booth with Echomen and Filterheadz), La Ideal, Museum, El Divino, Jacko’s, Middawn, Elsieland, Bed Baires, KU Pilar and Vitreo. Throughout 2003 she held the residence at Supersoul’s Thursadys. Her ever increasing willingness opened the doors for her to work as a producer in Metrodance FM. In May 2004 she was part of BUE Festival, warming up for Massive Attack in the main floor. In 2005, she was invited once more to be part of the BUE Mix Edition, sharing stage with artists like Morcheeba, Elvis Costello and Fischerspooner. She was an already popular DJ when she went to a national tour. She was invited to play in several places of Argentina such as Cordoba Casa Babylon, Era), Mendoza, Rosario (Mei, Blue Velvet, Tokio), La Pampa and Mar del Plata (Sobremonte, La Morocha Beach, Mr. Jones). Her charisma, dedication and experience paved the way for her performance in Caracol club in Asuncion (Paraguay) in 2004. In 2005, she produced a gig at Tago Mago club, mixing side by side with The Flash Brothers from Israel, Christian Cambas from Greece and the locals Szteixo and Nico Bunge In 2006, being the main DJ at Heineken Boat in Asunción del Paraguay was a new boost to her already consolidated career, finishing the tour at Zeta, the main club in Formosa (Argentina). In June, she made the crossover to Chile, where she mixed at Blondie disco. Months later she played at Key Montevideo, in Uruguay. In Ushuaia she was part of the Ushuaia Sound Fest. She performed in Club Náutico, Kuar, Dreamland and Muelle 55. In Rio Grande, she mixed at Liverpool club and a few months later she returned to the end of the globe to mix at the snowboard competition taking place at Cerro Castor. There, she shared booth with Aldo Haydar at Clubsound parties. Since August 2006 she has represented the prestigious brand Jeans Makers, projecting the brand’s image in the events organized by the firm. In 2007, besides her participation as a DJ in the KSK Radio Space of the Southamerican Music Conference (SAMC), she was also the Stage Manager of Cocoon Tent, the main stage of that venue. In the best moment of European Summer Season 2007, RoMix decided to travel to expand her own horizons. She played at Mondo, Forum, Le Kasbah and La Nueva Ola Beach in Barcelona and then she moved to Greece to meet her radio partner, Anna Maria X, staying with her and Gpal in Crete and showing her style in Glow (Halkida), Idee (Vrahati, Korinthos) and back to back with Anna in Cinema Club (Nafpatkos). In addition to her solo career, she has joined Luis del Vecchio to form Fusion, whose sounds made it to several dance floors and were broadcasted in KSK Radio. Fusion was headliner at KU Pinamar and performed in Terraza de Plaza Mateo and MK1 club, both in Montevideo, Uruguay. RoMix counts with the support of many DJs and people in the electronic music business around the globe: Flash Brothers, Pole Folder, Alex Dolby, Steve Porter, Lexicon Avenue, Lee Burridge, dPen, Lank and distributors such as 3 beat, Release and Unique. Her sets can be listened to at Danceradio (Greece),Underground Sounds Radio (Miami), ADN Alternative, Release Records (Canada), KSK Radio and Proton. Actually she has a radio show called High Gloss Girls at KSK and Danceradio, sharing space with Anna Maria X (Greece), Chloe Harris (USA) and Onirika (Italy). Her horizons are not limited to her deejaying career, but extend to producing her own tracks. She has also been organizing events lately and looking for new ones in the future.
