Laura Seh

Born in Buenos Aires, Laura Seh grew up listening to bands like Depeche Mode, and it is years later, that she developed interest in the electronic sound.2005 was an important year in her career as she started to learn and play music in Sonica (Important electronic music school from Argentina)With such teachers as Romayn and Hernan Paredes, she learned mixing music and how use effects in live performances, and how to choose music for her gigs. Under the influence of artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed and many others, she created her own style, varies between House and Progressive House House with Electro Tech sounds.She then started to play in private sessions parties organized by friends and places like JACKOS CLUB and FRERE in Buenos Aires among the others. In 2006, with her second mixture, Laura Seh obtained a place between best 30 new djs of Argentina in the competition DJ MIX 2006 of the association of djs and illuminators of Argentina www.adisc.org, as a participant in the semifinals.In 2007, she was present in SAMC (South American Music Conference) with ON MUSIK Record Shop and SÃ³nica School of Electronic Music, and started her residence in KSK RADIO FM 101.9 (www.kskradio.net) with the show Girls Just Wanna Have Fun; also was invited to several locals and International radios like DLA (www.dancelatinoamerica.com), BEATBOX (www.beatbox.fm), FM Beat (www.fmbeat.com), FRISKY (www.friskyradio.com) and KISS FM 100.6 (Greece) catching the attention of the public.But that was not all. This year is filled with more surprises and growth. Beside her career, she decided to start producing her own tracks with tools such as reason and ableton live. In last November, she was invited by MINT to realize the warmup for Billie Ray Martin at the celebration anniversary.With the goal to make something different, the blond girl started the year 2008 doing a new project with her friend Dj RoMix.A great affinity in their musical taste but soever such differences in the technical matter made them think: what would happen if we join in a dj booth? The answer came quickly and after just one month, they released their first dj set as FeMMes on DecKs. They made also their official debut at Big One, one of the most important club in Buenos Aires (about 1500 peoples) and had an excellent crowd reaction.After that, one thing came after another... InfluenciÃ¡ndose con artistas como Depeche Mode, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed y otros luego de varios aÃ±os Laura decide crear su propio estilo. En el aÃ±o 2005 decide comenzar su carrera como Dj luego de hacer el curso de Dj inicial y avanzado en la Escuela SÃ³nica. Con el Dj Romayn como profesor comenzÃ³ a comprender la escencia y mezcla de los sonidos, asÃ definiendo su estilo musical. En el curso de Dj Avanzado con el Dj Hernan Paredes empieza a entender la utilizaciÃ³n de efectos en vivo, pensando utilizarlos en sus shows. Su estilo varia entre Progressive House y el house con sonidos Electro tech , y sus mezclas con Cd..s Vinilos y efectos dados desde Ableton Live son los que diferencian cada uno de sus sets. Comenzando a tocar en fiestas privadas con amigos y algunos bares como Â¨Jackos ClubÂ¨, â€œFlamingoâ€, y â€œFrereâ€ entre otros en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, en el mes de Noviembre de 2006 llego a travÃ©s de su segundo demo a quedar entre los mejores 30 djs del concurso DJ MIX 2006 de la asociaciÃ³n de djs e iluminadores de Argentina www.adisc.org, consiguiendo un lugar en la semifinal. Este 2007 estuvo presente en SAMC junto con ON MUSIK Record Shop y SÃ³nica Escuela de MÃºsica ElectrÃ³nica, tambiÃ©n siendo invitada a varias radios locales como DLA(www.dancelatinoamerica.com/radio), FMBeat (www.fmbeat.com Fm 90.5), BeatBox (www.beatbox.fm), Frisky Radio (www.friskyradio.com) y Kiss FM entre otras, captando la atenciÃ³n del pÃºblico, llegando asi a la residencia de los miÃ©rcoles en KSK RADIO de 21 a 22 HS, compartiendo dicho dia con otras Dj Mujeres como Alfonsina, Romix, Chloe Harris, Anna Maria X y Onirica. Su musica sono tambien en MINT, estando encargada del warmup en el aniversario presentandose junto a Billie Ray Martin, ademas de musicalizar la Tienda KSK de Unicenter Shopping cada fin de semana. Su carrera como productora tambien se inicio en el mismo aÃ±o. Ya con algunas producciones propias a la fecha se encuentra preparando un nuevo proyecto junto a RoMix con quien unidas en la cabina son â€˜Femmes On Decksâ€™ duo en el cual se fusiona varios aÃ±os de experiencia en pistas por parte de RoMix y creatividad en performances en vivo por parte de Laura Seh lo que hace del este duo una dupla perfecta la cual ha sido convocada este verano para estar presente en Clubs tales como Big One ( Buenos Aires) y Sobremonte (Mar del Plata). Ambas tambien se encuentran produciendo y prÃ³ximamente editaran su primer track â€˜Realizeâ€™.
