I'm Diana. I live in Detroit. I used to live in Indiana. I play music sometimes but I work at a newspaper to keep the bills paid and feed my music habit. I write blogs sometimes. I have a lot of useless skills that I'd love to trade for practical ones, or money. I usually start my day trapped under a pile of cats and end it with a couple of aspirin. I'd like to meet:Cool people who don't take things too seriously. I don't want to meet you if you're only here to try to sell me penis enlargement pills, post porn or talk dirty. I think I'd like to meet Dick Cheney just to see if he's really an evil robot. And maybe a spammer or two, just to give 'em a swift kick in the nads. Spammers piss me off.

Music:

You mean bands I've been in? That would be C-15 (Indiana), Punch n' Kitty (Detroit), Shiska Goddess (Detroit), The Articles (Detroit), Black Magic Crossing (Detroit), Hush (Detroit), and currently King Mellowman (Detroit).
I've done guest sit-ins (or jumped on stage and made an ass of myself) with Radiocraft , Yellow Morgan , Diamondback , 7MJ , Stash , Xiren , Howling Diablos , Complete Breakfast, The Chimps, a bunch of karaoke bars and other bands I've probably forgotten from the sheer exuberance of the night.
Let me try to remember who all I've recorded with.... some of the above... oh, plus a couple of fun solos in the '90s for techno god Gary Martin . I miss those days...

Oh lookie! Me and my old nose are in this video. I sang and played keys on this song and my hubby played guitar.

Movies:

I just saw "Sideways" again this weekend, and wowie I just love that movie. If I come across any of the Kevin Smith flicks, "Grease," "The Birdcage," "Goodfellas" or "The Fisher King" on the tube I pretty much have to cancel my plans.

Television:

Simpsons, baby! Family Guy, Letterman, Daily Show, Colbert, South Park, that sorta thing

Books:

I'm making my way through a pile of books that I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't read yet. Who has time when there's a new Time and/or National Geographic sitting there?
