DJ Owns

DJ Owns started his DJ-ing career on the east coast, as a hip-hop DJ and b-boy. DJ Owns originally spun under the moniker "The Liquid1", a name he'd created and used actively for graffiti. DJ Owns began to attend raves as a break-dancer in 1999, where as a young break-dancer he was exposed to the jungle scene. In 2001 DJ Owns moved from the Boston area to Portland Oregon. Here he buckled down and began to create his own original sound within the Ragga genre. DJ Owns came to form a crew of talented DJ's, 1001 Untouchable Styles, and built a sound system from the ground up. DJ Owns has worked long and hard to develope the skills he has attained, and continues to push forward. Wether it's through garnering new production techniques, or bringing turntablism into jungle, DJ Owns is working as a pioneering force for jungle in the pacific Northwest.
1001 Untouchable Styles is a Portland Oregon based crew of talented DJ's. They also provide lights, sound, and DJ Oriented recording and mastering for the Portland Oregon area.
