Hydra R.I.P. ?

About Me

There once was a band called Hydra that formed in 2002 and played it's first show opening for Theory of A Deadman at the Odeon in March of 2003. We played some cool shows, met great people and sometimes laughed so hard all four cheeks hurt! But life sometimes gets in the way and...well who knows, we thought we'd play again someday but that day seems to have come and gone...

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: No band = no web site
Band Members: Akenra--Vocals, Alien--Bass, Jerry--Drums, HPR--Guitars
Influences: Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Van Halen, Living Colour, Sevendust, Alice In Chains, Kiss, The Blues, any songwriter that writes from the heart, the list really could be endless...
Sounds Like: Hydra sounds like it was conceived in a Soundgarden using Godsmack mixed with Living Colour, add a little Sabbath, sprinkled with some Led Zep and listen without prejudice!..........Get your own BandZoogle site where you can sell downloads right from your own site, why give Apple, CDBaby or any of those guys commissions, they don't do anything to promote you!!!!

Do The Work!

Here's yet another rant from Lefsetz, he's so right on with this one it's not funny. I find it amazing how many bands/musicians are still out there trying to "get signed." Signed to what? Being in a s...

I used to go see a lot of shows...

Below is another e-mail from Lefsetz, I think he nailed this one right on the head. Rock-n-roll used to be for everyone, now it's for the rich, and I'm certainly not rich, are you? I grew up on Van Ha...

The Apprentice and Team Hydra 2, Impresario NADA!!

Well, well, well...Team Hydra on The Apprentice does it again! I have to admit I thought Gene was going to get fired for his comments to Ivanka, but it was pretty brazen on his part to dimiss her that...

Team Hydra On The Apprentice

Sure it's a cheesy show, but for those of us in sales/marketing and with entreprenuerial mind sets, the show can be interesting. Being I'm a Kiss fan I have to watch to see how Gene Simmons will do. I...
