Musician, massage therapist, ayurvedic bodyworker.
Main interests are religion and philosophy. I lean more toward an interest in eastern religions, though I am interested in any esoteric sect that includes some form of sound development, and perhaps some real knowledge rather than belief. I studied Ayurvedic medicine and body treatments in India. While there I also studied Hindustani vocals and harmonium, as well as yoga and meditation.I play guitar, 6 string and 12 string, mandolin, and bouzouki (I am also trying to learn hammered dulcimer and some zither looking thingy). I do a lot of acoustic music, but I do electric too. The songs I write are mytho-poetic, and occult in nature. I collect a lot of Irish ballads as well. I am working on a gothic rock opera right now that I may finish one day. Other hobbies of mine include drinking and dancing to really loud stompy gothic industrial music.I studied Indo-European religion and mythology at the University of Texas, after I got fed up with western psychology. I am now more interested in eastern psychology, based on meditation rather than theory. I have been to Europe a few times and India. I have traveled the U.S and Ireland as a fortune teller, and through Europe as a dirty hitch-hiking hippy.
One day I might grow up and get a real job, but perhaps I will save that until I am old and burnt out.Check out my music project at:
