I like to walk long distances . (See my blog for info on hiking with me!) I sometimes like Optigans . I make music, most of it is either dumb on purpose or dumb not on purpose . Or re-purposed as dumb . I'm also an audio archaeologist . Check out my blog to the right to hear some music. I go to estate sales and garage sales every weekend. I collect thrift store art and also other "found" stuff like photos and things. Here's my Flickr page . Oh, and here's my shitteos .
Anything made by people trying to sound like machines, but usually not vice-versa. I also like pretty music made out of ugly sounds, but usually not vice-versa.
Christianity: The belief that some cosmic Jewish Zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Lately I've been reading all the popular new books on atheism, ie Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris, etc. Christopher Hitchens is kind of a jerk but I suppose I'll read his book next because I agree with him on most everything. Right now I'm re-reading George H. Smith's classic Atheism: The Case Against God . Highly recommended for those who wish to intellectually arm themselves for verbal sparring with theists. (Or you can just cut out the middle-man and tell them to read it too!)I don't mind mentioning these specific authors here, even though I know I'm just helping out some market research bots or something, because I feel it's important that those bots report back to hq that these authors are being read and supported.
