Lucas David Mari, known as Lukas Mari, was borned in Buenos Aires in 1981, with genetic musical influences by his ascendant family. He was particularly influenced by techno and house, and realized his firsts experiences in discotheques and parties in Rosario, in the year 1999 and 2000. Interested in the musical production, he starts interacting with software, sequencer and MIDI controllers. In between 2002, 2003 and 2004, he outstands as resident in “El Sotano”, one of he most underground clubs of the Argentinean scene, sharing innumerable nights with George S. Franco Cinelli and Nicolas Purman for three consecutive seasons., with great influence of Detroit techno, club and Chicago house. In 2005 and 2006, he had the chance of sharing scene with great artists and producers such as: Leonel Castillo, Dee Jason, Someone Else ( USA), Keith Denis (USA), Gustavo Lamas, Jaumetic (ESP), Carla Tintore- and more. Starting 2007 he travels to Chile, where he plays in the famous club “Piso 33”, and in the Declive’s after. He is invited to Uruguay for the anniversary of the Ghrk netlabel, where he shares cabin with the producers of the same label. As a producer, orientated to vanguard music, he carried along numerous projects, some shared with Andres Zacco. Now, his presentations are a hybrid between live and dj set.
