Classic Breaks is a library we are especially proud of. We have taken classic sampled breaks that we all know from Amen to Apache to Hot pants and using our drummers rendered them in the Midi format. This has really opened up another world to experiment with breaks, imagine using Amen at any tempo with your favorite sampled snare or kick or even in an 808, it is like taking Gregory Sylvester and having him drum that exact break again only at any tempo and on any kit you choose, same groove, totally different sound. Our Hip Hop package is produced in the same way as our rock package and is packed with grooves inspired by classic hip hop tracks by many artist across the genre. With extra fills and different patterns this is a library that any hip hop producer/ performer needs to have at his/hers disposal.
BEATZANDBREAKZ ROCK
For our Rock package our grooves are different full stop. We have moved away from the midi drum crowd and have produced grooves you can actually use, how have we done this?. Our drummers know what is needed in your compositions and more importantly what is not. They know that for todays modern music a drummer has to sit nicley in a track and not try to steal the show. Having noticed in other Midi libraries and bundled grooves that come with drum soft synths that this is not the case, we decided to create our own. To capture the very human aspect of drumming we recorded each drummers performance as he played with other musicians. The finished product, unquantized and conveniently chopped into sections i.e intro, verse ,chorus etc, easily and very quickly allows you to create and manipulate a drum track that has the expression of every drumming performance, letting you get on with what you want to do, which is to make music. This gives such a realistic drum track ,it is hard to know the difference.
Our grooves are played by proffesional drummers working within todays music industry with some of the newest talent around, needless to say their fingers are on the pulse of whats new and whats needed. At the moment we have created 3 products that we, but more importantly the drummers themselves are very proud of.
