High School Sophomore
My name is Antoine, I am somewhat a shy fifteen year old male that plays drums in my high school marching band and orchestra. In the past, I grew up watching my grandfather, dad, and mom playing instruments, performing, singing, dancing, composing, and arranging music in local bands & churches back in their days. Although, they are not deeply involved in music as they were once, I'm picking up where they left off.
I started playing in school the stage snare drums at the age of eleven years old and I learned very fast to play and read the music. At the age of fourteen years old I started playing the piano. For starts, I learned to play a lot of Brian Culbertson's music and fell in love with it. I started learning to play a drumset and the piano at the same age and been hooked ever since!
In my freshman year in the marching band, I started playing tenor drums. Now, as a sophomore, I am playing quads and I am in a drumline that we do a lot of fancy stick styles. It's fun when you get it right!
Now since I started my own music studio, I am always listening to all types of music. Music can be from the past to the present, or from the states to the islands. I like it all. It inspires different flavors that come out in my own music. Keep listening...my music will always be growing.
I hope you noticed that sometimes I like taking the same music and bringing it out even more. You will see that in my songs, "Take Off" from my first album, TWAN and "Take Off (Cont.)" from my second album, 15. It's my way of seeing if I can improve a song that I once had composed before. Please check them out...

"In My Arms," I wrote for my girlfriend, Carolynne. "Dwedie" was originally composed by my mom, Dr. Fuentes but needed to be finished and that's where I came in to make it into a song. "My NBA Dream" was composed for my dream besides music was to go to the NBA. I really love to play basketball as much as I love music.
This jazz CD brings my own style of the sweet sounds of love music and grooves into contemporary jazz.
