************ Sean P’s music biography: ***********
My music career started way back in the late 70’s at the tender age of 8, I remember my parents hosting house parties and I would ask if I could play the music (over the year’s my father had built up a huge record collection comprising of mainly reggae 45’s & Motown LP’s). My parents agreed under the proviso that I would be in bed by 23:00 at the very latest, eventually seeking permission to DJ come to an end as I was expected to take control at the music tower.
During the mid 80’s, because I was very much into the “Break Dance†scene, I started collecting mainly Hip-Hop records. By the late 80’s I had a revelation to find all of the original sound tracks used in the Hip-Hop break samples. This revolution led to me selling or trading all of my Hip-Hop records, because my musical preference had changed to a more sublime sound, and I started collecting Rare Grooves, 2 step, Jazz & Reggae Revival.
I now regularly attend record fairs & frequently visit record shops – just to see if I’m able to locate that ultra rare piece of vinyl!
In my spare time I DJ at mainly house parties, weddings & outdoor charity events.
Future plans are to kick-off an awesome “soul night†in a local wine-bar somewhere in Middlesex (UK)
Peace be with you!
