About Me

Daughter of German immigrant parents and raised in the burbs of Northern Virginia , Hella Rader aka Fabulous Babe had brief stints in Switzerland and southwestern Virginia before settling into New York City . In the last decade, Fabulous Babe earned the title organizational maven while working as an event planner, office manager, freelancer extraordinaire, and assistant to heads of PR and entertainment law firms. In addition, she received a Masters degree in Media Studies from the New School with a concentration in audio and video production.
In 2004, Fabulous Babe turned her attention to more low-fi creative ventures: knitting, crocheting, silkscreening and sewing. She emerged from the studio with the Fabulous Babe label and a line of infant onesies, womens tees and stationery. The small designs with big ideas reflect her continuing spiritual journey towards healing, freedom and peace.
Currently Fabulous Babe is taking a break from the hustle and bustle of trying to rule the world and enjoying the company of her beautiful best friend, partner and husband Sage.
