About Me

Born in Sydney Australia to an Anglican preacher Dad. Lived in the Gibson desert as a child, where I learned trumpet long enough to give me a good diaphragm for singing.
Grew up acting and singing for church/school productions and was a boy soprano. My voice never really "broke" though (just got deeper), so thankfully I kept my high register.
When I was 18 I won Australia's "Star Search" male voc. Won a car and drove around Queensland. Trippy... Made some records, one through Polydor, produced by Mark Moffatt (Yothu Yindi, etc etc, the guy's a legend). A couple were independently done. Charles Fisher worked on one of them. (Savage Garden, Moving pictures, Gyan etc etc another legend).
So I learned a lot from those guys about recording and arranging.
Then I joined "Vertigo" and in 1998 we had some success on Aussie airwaves with "Forever Lately". But we broke up not long after that.
In 2001 I went on walkabout, spending time in Singapore, Europe, and eventually settling in New York. Lived all over NYC, in the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. I really love this city.
While here I recorded 'Unidirectional' and the electronica CD 'Radiate' as well as albums for CCC: 'Peace', 'C3USA project' and Steve Deal's 'Cure for Gravity'. (All are on itunes) In 2005/2006 I toured with Lenny Kravitz, which has meant I've seen a lot of the U.S of A. What an amazing country...
Right now, I'm back at home, working on more recording projects and spending time with my lovely wife Anne.
Thanks for reading, hope you're well. God bless.
