Honor the sacred musical traditions. Since the dawn of time, human cultures have used musical tones and rhythms to induce states of heightened awareness. My music is techno-organic. I carry on the old ways by drawing on ancient tools--the wood flute, didgeridoo or goat-skin drum. On the other hand, Im not afraid to use modern sound technology--keyboards, beats, and effects--to enhance the music's richness and complexity. 2. Honor the Earth. Rhythm and tone are all around us in nature--we hear it in the sound of waves, the chorus of birds in the morning, the reverberation of thunder, the buzz of crickets and cicadas in midsummer. Music is a way of reconnecting with the spirit of Mother Earth. I express my overwhelming affection and gratitude toward the Earth by sharing My music with Her in outdoor venues, whenever possible. 3. Honor the creative process.
