Square eyes, it's no surprise.........

About Me

So......you are probably wondering what the name "Thesouphead" is all about? Here is the thing. Since about the age of 9, I have always had a thing for soup. MY mother says it started much earlier than that though. She says that when I was a toddler, I would pour my drink(usually tea) into the plate of whatever I was eating. I was turning my food into a tea-soup as a baby. Yeah....pretty strange. So I guess that lead up to my loving soup as a young kid. As I was saying, since the age of 9, I have been enjoying soup on a regular basis. Very regular. I would say that I have had at least one bowl(sometimes 2 or 3) of soup everyday, give or take about 10 days a year. One bowl a day for 19 years(at 355 days a year) is 6,800 bowls. But for my whole lifetime, I am willing to bet the number is much higher(10,000?) than that. There have been hundreds and hundreds of days that I have had soup fro breakfast as well as lunch. Hell that is the usual thing for me at work. I have chicken noodle soup every day for breakfast. And no, it isn't a rare thing for me to have soup for every meal of the day. Speaking of work, that is where the Thesouphead monkier started. Seven years ago, a co-worker was making fun of me and my soup addiction. He said soup was like crack for me. He said that instead of being a crackhead, I was a souphead. It was only a couple days later that I got my first home computer and needed to come up with an email address. Not wanting to use my real name, I used the tag my coworker had just given me. The name has stuck with me ever since. It also works on other levels. My brain is filled with tons of useless trivia and random facts. I have information soup in my head. Also, I am pretty sure my brain has turned into liquidly mush from all of the things have done to it over the years. Soup brain in my soupy head. All that just to tell you about my screen name. Ridiculous.I'll post more info about what I am up to these days later. For now...just go to Tara's page.
