I'd like to meet:

Shoe strings and ginger things.
Pieces of paper with little folds.
Creases in the face of a life well lived.

Citizen Kane just yelling on the Tele.

Places where people love to read books together.
Ideas flowing, water going, sneezes blowing.

Being tied to reality doesn't have many more ups than downs.
Thin lust, flaky crust, barely holding on to the handles.
Why must we meet before the end?

Apple tanks stepping softly through the moonlit dessert topping.
Aces, spades, razor blades: where do they go for retirement?

Probably Chicago or Iceland.
Quite similar if you squint too much.

Ankle bites related to the knee patch,
Yet no one knows where the powder cheese comes in.
It's all about the timing, the timing.

Listen for your cue, for the show mustn't ever stop.
Especially before it ever comes through the window,
That night it got locked out of your apartment.

Bikes, Gerber Ave., and the reality of the moment...

Through my pants and Sacramento Volleyball hoodie, I slid some ten feet down Gerber Ave. My elbow, knee and wrists are now aching in dull pain, mostly because my endorphins have receded and my nerves ...
