Basil Wajdowicz was born and raised in Manhattan but moved during high school to Warsaw, Poland. Afterwards, he studied at Berklee College of Music where he graduated in 2005. Composed music for short films, production work and performed at numerous prestigious festivals including the NBA All-Star Game in Denver 2005.
Recorded/Performed/Played with: AG (of Showbiz & AG, DITC), John Scofield, Donald Harrison, George Porter (of The Meters), Dave Fiuczynski, Charli Persip and many others.
Opened for: Amerie, Ciara, Common, Destiny's Child, Ludacris, Method Man, Mos Def, Nelly, Nina Sky, Redman, Trina and many others.
Studied with: Danilo Perez, Walter Beasley, JoAnne Brackeen, Alain Mallet, Ron Burton and Wlodek Pawlik among others.
Currently living back in Manhattan and working with two different production teams, an original live project, sideman work and also available as musical entertainment for any corporate and/or private events (previously was employed by the event planning organization: Best of Boston.)
