He who can analyze his delusion is a philosopher.

About Me

I read a lot. The New York Times and coffee is a Sunday ritual. I love German films - espicially Ranier Werner Fassbinder films. Amelie, although French, is still the greatest film ever made. I work in the Online Marketing field and see a future in this. Micheal Smith is my greatest foil. If she and I were to combine each other's marketing abilities into one brain, potential ROI's would reach the sky. I write copious amounts of text; alhtough, I have yet to a write any paradigm-shattering philosophical work. Like a true bohemian of yore, I believe that posthumously my work will catapult me to true greatness. I have a small but intimate group of friends - the kind that will be with me throughout my life. I am a multi-tasking Gen-Xer whose youth spent playing Nintendo, talking on the phone, watching the news PIP, and yelling at mom for a Pepsi has prepared me for the fast-paced world in which I now live and work. I love school but don't attend class. I learn in the library and by talking to professors. My philosophical concentration is Ethics but I deal in theories. So, don't come to me asking for assistance with a real life moral dilemmas - my response will be grounded in logic and will sound like "If X, then Y. Not Y. Therefore, not X." If X and Y are replaced with real persons or events, I panic and shut down. I'm empathic with respect to most, if not all, of my friends' problems. Although, I offer mere modicums of sympathy. Apathy is not part of my reality.

My Interests

Reading, marketing, investment, law, intellectual property, dancing, cooking, art, philosophy, epistemology, ethics, metaphysics, Aristotle, G. E. More, John Ross, cleaning (I'm really cumpulsive about cleaning), grades, religion(s), friends, peeps, g-dogs, and yo-yo-boys.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people with ambition and integrity. I have learned from someone for whom I have great respect that all other attributes can be taught if a person has integrity. At first, it sounded like a platitude. Two years later, I've adopted it as a philosophy. Integrity, as part of its essential nature, entails loyalty and honesty.
