art, words, magic, robbing banks, comic books, the world, anarchy, shiny plastic things, life and how to navigate through it, tattoos, leather, elvis, girls, shoes, nice hats, cowboy shirts, and obviously, brian kelly. oh, i also like the space between things.

rock n' roll, and other stuff too.
there are few really great movies to enjoy. most movies serve as suitable entertainment and escapism and can be enjoyed for that purpose. every once in a while a movie makes me feel something. which brings up another thing. have you ever noticed how movies feel more real than life sometimes? a funeral in a movie can be very sad and have the proper tone of what we think it should be (but maybe that is only because we have been programmed by the movies to know how something should feel). when faced with a real funeral, it seems so poorly done. "well, that's grandpa in the casket. he looks kind of fake and plastic though. oh well." the music is keyed with the proper images to produce the tears at the appropriate time. we fumble through life waiting to watch actors pretend to live so they can show us how we should feel.
i don't own a television, my new place didn't come with one.
