About me?? OK, My name is Mic, pronounced Mike. It's Short for Michael. Some people get it and some don't.
I started playing Drums at 8 yrs. old. Until age 14 when I traded some stuff for my first Guitar.... and I was hooked. After a few years of Guitar I discovered that while I played, nothing else mattered and my problems seemed to disappear. I had found an outlet for this rage that was eating away at me as well.
Over the years, playing Guitar would see me through the toughest times in my life. I could shut the world out and breathe in this life force and energy that I get from playing. Music is and will be the driving force in my life until I die.
I have been through many failed attempts at bands over the years, which led me to a realization that my youth was overlooking.
I learned the ultimate lesson, that a band is more than just showing up to play music. It requires friendship, brotherhood and dedication.
Years later, this ultimately led me to join my friends in DEADECHOES. Where I truly feel I have found my home. Thank you everyone for your support and respect for the band. CHEERS!! Hope to play my ass off for you soon! Mic, dE.
