About Me

My broadcasting career began in the fall of 1991 with Houston, Texas Pacifica affiliate KPFT, 90.1 FM. That program, appropriately titled ‘Milestones’, originally appeared on Mondays from 7-9 PM. After two years at that time slot, popular demand prompted a move to Saturday evenings from 6-9PM. I returned to the Metro area in 2002. After serving for 3 years as the regular fill-in for the venerable Willard Jenkins, I became the permanent host of Friday Drive Time Jazz upon Jenkins’ departure in September 2007.
