les raisons de reprendre cette chanson:
Wiz et mc4 ont toujours beaucoup compté pour moi, l' envie de la pop bruyante ou pas est venue en écoutant "tranzophobia", album imparable qui passe les années sans vieillir, pas comme moi..
cette chanson est un extrait de "there goes my happy marriage" dont le dernier exemplaire à la maison est au moins le 3ème... les autres usés juqu'à la corde et je crois que j'ai du en donner un aussi à quelqu'un que j'aime bien forcément...
j'ai été très triste à la mort de wiz l'année dernière mais j'ai toujours voulu reprendre cette chanson depuis des années...
il n'y a que quelques jours où j'ai trouvé enfin le moyen de la reprendre décemment tout en faisant une version personnelle, il a fallu changer la tonalité , l'originale étant bien trop haute pour moi...
bientôt ça fera un an que wiz est mort mais ça n'est pas pour célébrer une quelconque cérémonie, c'est juste pour le plaisir de faire redécouvrirde fantastiques chansons,j'espère que je pourrais apporter à tous les gens qui aiment la musique de "WIZ" Darren Brown et MEGA CITY4.
j'ai perdu un autre ami il n'y a pas longtemps à cause d'un stupide accident, l'effroyable fatalité de la vie.
C'était Pierre le chanteur guitariste de DOGSHOP, j'ai envie de reprendre "free again" de big star en pensant à lui, mais j'y arrive pas...les chansons c'est bien ,les amis , c'est mieux, alors des fois c'est dur...

I wanted this song to sound like a jam between jay mascis and R.E.M., hope you'll hear the same things as me , even it's a little bit pretentious, isn't it?

I started a better recording session with my good friends from "choum et les pervers magnifiques" ( peter played the drums and "tahiti" Mat was behind his big computer brilliantly recording this stuff) but we never finished it...
big shame, but we gonna do it, I swear it!

The first time I heard this song was on a great sampler called "on another planet" and it was played by one of my favourite bands , MEGA CITY FOUR.
I didn't know HUSKER DÜ at this time so thanks to wiz and his friends for making me discover one of the most important bands of rock'n roll history!
AND IT'S ALSO MY TRIBUTE TO DARREN "WIZ" BROWN WHO LEFT US LAST YEAR, I MISS HIM SO MUCH EVEN IF WE NEVER REALLY MET EXCEPT ON MY SPACE WHERE HE ALWAYS SENT ME NICE MESSAGES AND COMPLIMENTS ABOUT MY OTHER BANDS.
