About Me

I'm in my final year of law school at Stanford. Intramural basketball excites me just as much as studying Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, so I'm a mix of jock and nerd.

My Interests

Learning, Politics (democracy building, counter proliferation, economic development, education policy), Fashion (shoes, single breasted suits, herringbone dress shirts (especially if they are made of sea island cotton), ties, tailored 3/4 length coats), Family, Etiquette, Cooking, Eating (sushi and pho), Photography, Sleeping In, Music, Playing Basketball, Baseball, and Tennis, Lifting Weights, Writing, Law (Fourth Amendment, criminal procedure, international law, presidential wartime powers under the Constitution), Dancing, Proper Use of English, Reading

I'd like to meet:

People who realize that Condoleezza Rice is more important than Paris Hilton.

Music:

Anything acoustic: My boys Coldplay, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, David Gray, Damien Rice, Goo Goo Dolls, Joe Purdy, and Jack Johnson. Hip hop: Quartermainz, Saigon, Jadakiss, Styles P, Fab, and Jigga.

Television:

I'll go out of my way to catch 24, West Wing, Entourage, Project Runway, The Office, and Nip/Tuck. Other than that, we're talking The Daily Show, Family Guy, Ali G, ESPN, and CNN.

Books:

Currently reading: "Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia"

Heroes:

My parents, Jack Bauer, and people for others.
