Biography
Born in Jacksonville, FL M.A.J.O.R.S. was raised in a community where drugs dominated the area but his mother maintained a spiritual household instructing him not to go down the wrong path. As a teen, he was drawn to rappers such as 2PAC, NAS, KRS-1, JAY-Z, RAKIM, OUTKAST, TRIBE CALLED QWEST and many other artists whom he says played a role in structuring his lyrical content and style of delivery. After dropping out of Alabama State University in 1997 then moving to Atlanta, GA in 2001 was the beginning of his mission and calling to hip-hop.
Mentioned instantly as one of the hottest unsigned rappers, M.A.J.O.R.S. has an outspoken, self-empowered swagger that can reach those in the streets as well as people who seek spiritual guidance. Whether calling himself "MAJOR LEAGUE" or "M Dot" everybody know that he’s a true child of God, M.A.J.O.R.S. state that “in hip-hop there are numerous artists thriving to get signed to feed off the people I’m in hip-hop to feed the people so they can overcome adversityâ€. He’s positioning himself towards the top epicenter of East Coast, Dirty South, West Coast rap no one is more worthy of this calling then M.A.J.O.R.S. being inspired by leaders such as Jesus, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Fredrick Douglas, Nelson Mandela, etc. His music is filled with provocative rhymes, which he delivers with a masterful flow and a wise perspective over breathtaking beats but throughout all the ups, the downs, the pressures and the adversity of the industry he continued maturing as an artist, evolving into the artist he is today from running in the streets of Jacksonville, Fl to a humble godly teacher. This is what sets him apart from everyone else in an industry that promotes sex, drugs and violence.
M.A.J.O.R.S. debut CD, “MAJOR LEAGUEâ€, has catchy hooks with powerful flow that’s bound to win the souls of those who listen. “MAJOR LEAGUE†shows all facids of this multi-talented artist, through creative writing abilities and soul rattling tracks. “MAJOR LEAGUE†depicts creative stories about the life of artists as well as situations of many living in the world today facing hard times.Contact: Mrs. EL Brown – (770) 851-4763

Infectious hooks, head bobbing beats, and ill lyrics-that’s how Holy Holy Hop musician M.A.J.O.R.S. brings it. But he knows it’s not just about making people bob their heads; it’s about touching their hearts.Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, this Atlanta based artist is on a mission: God’s mission to heal hard hearts. He’s bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the form of a Holy Hip Hop pill. It’s not a bitter one for listeners prepared for a change. In October 2006, he was featured on the internationally distributed EMI Gospel CD, Holy Hip Hop: Taking the Gospel to the Streets, Vol. 4. But M.A.J.O.R.S. says that his mission to deliver positive music through hip-hop hasn’t always been easy. He’s fought hard, trying to get his voice heard. Despite having doors shut in his face, he also released his debut CD "Major League". He continues to use his love for hip-hop to spread the gospel throughout the world. The music is important to M.A.J.O.R.S., but it doesn’t overpower the message and ministry. His goal is to use hip hop music as a bridge between the church and the streets. He sees it as an opportunity to help people turn their lives around and get on track. While music is what he’s known for, this talented musician is also a husband, teacher and great mentor. He’s involved with the GODZ GUY Network, which empowers young men to live forward thinking, forward moving lives.Additionally, he will be performing at the nationally-televised Miss Christian Teen Spirit Pageant in Atlanta on April 13, 2007. It’s easy to tell the youth love M.A.J.O.R.S.To read the full interview logon to http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/187412/_an_intervie
