The conventional ideas about the young modern woman suggest that she is:
(i) rude to her parents and seniors and impatient of authority;
(ii) neglectful of her real duties;
(iii) Selfish about her pleasures;
(iv) unconcerned about matters of public interest;
(v) uncontrolled in habits, given to drinking, smoking and sexual promiscuity muchos besos amigos.

My Interests

a varied selection of twentysomething trivialities
including but not limited to - reading-in-bed washing clothes walks supermarket shopping i am keen

a small selection of pop music
including and sometimes limited to- plinky plonky music tunes with a beat plus a larger selection of other music too

Movies:

a growing selection of interesting films
including but not limited to- blue velvet me and you and everyone we know belleville rendez-vous and a small selection of gangster based films

Television:

a selection of old-man-centric classics
including but not limited to- twin peaks louis theroux documentaries frasier as well as many different comedy series, films made for television and one-off shows

Books:

a specific selection of fiction
including but by no means limited to- dave eggers geryoneis haruki murakami as well as the usual selection of "hip" and/or "indie" comics, short stories and somewhat fantastical novels
