About Me

I like to surreptitiously watch re-runs of Star Trek. Sometimes I get caught. I appreciate the importance of cardigans and scarves, and would like to buy a good shawl one day. Or perhaps knit one. I'm looking forward to being twenty, and finally completing the Twilight Princess.

My Interests

Iced green tea. Tea of other varieties, including white and redbush. Sometimes earl grey. Nintendo. Live music. Doom. Being sarcastic. Discussing vegetables and sometimes feminism with Tirzah. Butternut squash and ginger soup. Sleeping. Soya milk. My duvet. Comic shop perusal. Comic book discussion. Walks. Night-time. The colour green. Yellow. Worrying about things. Trying to understand modernism, antimodernism and postmodernism. Immersing in books. Having baths. Cider. Poetry. Northern accents. Jumpers and cardigans. Other people who like jumpers. Getting excited about food. Wagamamas. Being scared by Bob. Hugs. Wintertime. Disliking summer intensely, and finding other people that agree. A good tree, that offers good book-reading shade. Writing. Playing video games with Katy. Discovering cheap books, possibly in charity shops. Being somewhat awkward. Getting annoyed when I realise the last good frying pan has been ruined. Vinyl figures. Lego. Fabric softener that smells like home. Border collies with plumy tails. People who are sarcastic. Honey. Tigers. Sesame snaps. Fluffy boot-like slippers to mooch about in. Getting upset that summer will be back again soon. Lemony cake things. Losting with chums and snacks. Making flapjack for Lost nights. Eating a whole crumble in a few hours. London markets. The prospect of second hand bookshops.

I'd like to meet:

Doc Brown. Yoda. Mr Miyagi. Terry Pratchett. Luke Skywalker (despite his bum-chin). Philip Larkin. Margaret Atwood. Snoopy. Meg. Seamus Heaney. Interesting people. Mark Z Danielewski. Doctor Octopus. Simone de Beauvoir. Someone who will make me endless amounts of vegetable crisps and impart wisdom.
