BIOGRAPHY

After DJ-ing in Londons heady 90's techno scene, John moved to Berlin in 1999. He DJ-ed in Berlin clubs like Rio, WMF, Cookies and NBI, also had a regular show on Berlin's only pirate radio station Twen FM. By pure coincidence, and maybe also foolishness, John picked up the mic and fronted the electro punk act Neonman. In 2002, at the start of the so-called 'electro-clash' scene, in Berlin's legendary techno club E-Werk, John found himself on stage for the first time, in front of over 1000 ravers. A defining and lasting moment, soon after which Neonman found themselves releasing music on 1st Decade, Lasergun and the infamous Gigolo Records. 
Always pioneers, Neonman moved away the electro rock scene and developed into a full-blowm indie punk band. Nenoman will be soon releasing their second full length album and a remix ep that will take Neonman's punk music to various dance floors of the electronic music world.
Time and again some wag will claim that "Dance music is dead", "Rock is healthy", or vice versa. This implies thats the two genres have an anti relationship - they can't co-exist. This is a load of old rubbish, as John Osborns DJing and vocal work proves.
John is an electronic dance DJ with Techno & House music running deep in his pulse. He is regularly to be found playing Berlin's after hour clubs, such as Golden Gate, as well as dates around Europe. John always states that "Genres make me nervous", thus choosing to evade easy categorisation, playing sets containing anything from heavy dub to pure Detroit Techno to Berlin Minimal, spurning the easy crowd-pleasers and maintaining his reputation as a music lovers' favourite.
He is also the founder of That's Audio – an independently run label in Berlin releasing mix CDs of Berlin and London based DJs. In between all of this John still finds time to run a Graphic Design studio in Berlin (Studio Higgins), and is currently working on diverse projects for international clients.
John is one busy man, whose passion for pushing the new without compromise never tires.
