The world is being taken over by cookie cutter bands that follow the mold that is set by successful platinum bands such as... well you can name some yourselves. These bands are robots. They are created to take over the world and they are all exactly the same. Artist Vs. Poet is the battle to stand out in a stale music industry where people jump from chorus to chorus hanging on a band for five minutes before the next band hits 1 on TRL and becomes their favorite band. Artist Vs. Poet is for people that appreciate music and the desire to do something a little different. No one is naive enough to actually believe "we are unique, do our own thing, have no influences, and are creating something that will live for the next one hundred years." Although we are not an exact carbon copy of these kinds of bands, we admit their influence in our lives and in our music. We wont write the same songs they have written, but we will write fun music that you will enjoy. We are Artist Vs. Poet and we hope you are ready for something a little similar and a little different. Our goal is to create music that you can sing along to, enjoy, and most of all tell your friends about. We are currently in the studio right now working on our debut album. Be ready for us in the coming year.
