DJ Jefferson Funk

Funk...pure and simple. Raised in a culturally stunted area of Northern America DJ Jefferson Funk felt the callings of music at the tender age of 5. After becoming well acquainted with various traditional musical instruments he went from forming a high school thrash metal band to discovering the art of turntablism at age 17. Jefferson Funk followed his new found passion for scratching whole heartedly thanks to scratch DJs Mix Master Mike, Q-Bert and DJ Swamp. When performing for the masses Jefferson Funk has the uncanny ability to tap into the pulse of crowd and create what he affectionately refers to as "Broken Beat Rhythm"; a complex tapestry of styles -- House, Breaks, Big Beat, Techno, Jungle to Drum and Bass all woven into a beautiful masterpiece of sound designed to touch every heart and soul in the crowd. Always finishing well in DJ battles across the Tri-State area, he became a local darling within the Midwest EDM scene headlining as his alter ego DJ Paode alongside such artists as Micro, DJ Funk, Dave Ralph, John Acquaviva, J Lafleche, DJ Godfather, DJ Ruckus, and more recently DJ Fixx and MC Flipside. In 2007 following the stirrings of his soul he relocated to sunny skies and the happiest place on earth... Orlando, Florida.
